| Description: |
| Please come and enjoy RU Hungry? at the corner of College Ave and Hamilton St, the original Grease Truck! We are famous for our "Fat Sandwhiches," salads, wraps, gyros, veggie stuff, and cold-cut subs. It all started in 1979, when a student at Rutgers University served a sandwich known as the "Fat Cat," a combination of two cheeseburgers, french fries, lettuce, tomato and onions. This sandwich would remain the #1 selling sandwich at Rutgers University until 1997 when a student named Darrell W. Butler created the "Fat Darrell," a delicious combination of chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, and marinara sauce. Since then, Fat Sandwiches remain the most popular food on campus and have served over 100,000 people. We now accept all major credit cards and RU Express Card. |
